Cookie policy

ProTrader uses the smallest possible cookie set. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and no behavioural-profiling SDKs.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the Service to function. You can't opt out without breaking sign-in.

• protrader-session — keeps you signed in. Expires after 30 days of inactivity. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax.
• protrader-csrf — protects against cross-site request forgery on form posts. Session-only.

Functional cookies

• protrader-theme — remembers your light / dark mode preference. Stored in localStorage rather than as a cookie. Optional; clearing it just falls back to your system preference.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics for anonymous, cookieless page-view tracking. Plausible doesn't set cookies and doesn't track individuals across sessions or sites. If you'd rather not be counted, a Do Not Track header or any standard ad-blocker excludes you.

What we don't use

• No Google Analytics.
• No Facebook Pixel.
• No third-party advertising cookies.
• No behavioural profiling.
• No fingerprinting.

Managing cookies

Your browser controls cookies. Clearing your browser's cookies will sign you out and reset your theme preference; nothing on the server side is affected.
